  • What are The Bailiwick’s opening hours?
Our opening hours are subject to seasonal variations and we endeavour to keep the section towards the very bottom of each website page up to date. Special arrangements may come into force for and around Bank Holiday periods, particularly Christmas and the New Year.
  • Where can we park at The Bailiwick?
The vast majority of our visitors arrive by car or on foot (the postcode for SatNav purposes is TW20 0HN). The Restaurant does not have its own carpark. The parking directly opposite the pub is resident only parking. The only 'visitor' parking is diagonally opposite us on the lay-by on Wick Road, this is owned by the council and is a paid for parking area. Please be aware that parking spaces are limited in the lay-by, and we share those parking spaces with dog walkers/visitors etc in Virginia Water. The closest reliable parking is around the corner at Savill Gardens, which is a 10 minute walk away (through the park). Please leave yourselves plenty of time to find parking as we can not accept cancellations due to parking issues. We recommend dropping off any persons unable to walk at our door and then moving the car to your chosen parking location.
  • What is your Cancellation Policy?
The Bailiwick Free House requires a credit or debit card for all reservations to secure your booking. No payment is charged to the card prior to the reservation. If the booking is not honoured, in whole or in part, or is not cancelled with more than 24 hours prior to your table seating time, a cancellation fee of £50 per person will then be charged to the credit or debit card used to secure the booking. No exceptions. If you are booking a table for within the next 24 hours, the same terms and conditions apply. For larger groups of 6 or more, we would require 48 hours notice.
  • How far ahead can we book to visit The Bailiwick and can we change a booking once it has been confirmed?
We generally accept bookings up to 12 months in advance. Restaurant bookings may be cancelled or changed up to 24 hours prior to your reservation time for parties of up to 5 people. For larger groups of 6 or more, we would require 48 hours notice. Where staffing levels allow and, at the absolute discretion of the Manager, tables may be made available for ‘walk-ins’ in our Pub. However, booked diners will always be our priority.
